“Well, looks like it’s between Fergie and Skippy.”

Alayna and I stood in one of three adoption rooms at the Capital Area Humane Society, contemplating which cat we would take home with us. After spending the better part of an hour walking various cats to the “Get Acquainted” rooms, calling them by names most had only known since their arrival to the pound, we had narrowed it down to a tough choice between two older cats.
